Are you thinking about trying out yoga? Then you've come to the right place!
We have many classes perfect for beginners. The perfect place to learn about the poses, the breathing and the alignment. No judgement. Everyone has to start somewhere. You don't start out doing handstands and arm balances (like you might see on really awesome Instagram feeds) and that is not ever expected of you in class, you can opt out of any pose that doesn't work for you!
We always offer modifications and we love to use props such as bolsters, blocks, straps and blankets to assist us in poses because everyone experiences the poses differently. We have different arm, leg and torso lengths, have different rotation and range of motion and a lot of people are healing from an injury! Basically, we don't look the same in the poses because we all have different bodies!
Some classes we recommend for beginners are Yoga Foundations, Yin, Restorative, or Hatha. If you are pregnant, these are all great classes to start in. Our teachers are well trained and able to offer you modifications to keep you and baby safe during your pregnancy.
